Planning on grabbing some Mobil 1 Extended Performance Motor oil 5W-30 from Canadian Tire. Mazda Protege 2.0L engines intake 3.5L of motor oil during normal consumption. While doing an oil change it’s customary to replace the oil filer and change the magnetic plug bolt before reinstalling. Regular maintenance vary from make and model but for my Protege I tend to change its oil every 5-6k kms.
